I've decided to make spaghetti tacos. :|

Not just make spaghetti and slap it in taco shells.

I'm doing it the right away.

I'm one of those people that notice plot holes and inconsistencies in Spongebob episodes. So, watching an episode of iCarly right now, I notice that when Carly and Sam talk about how to make them, the sauce is "secret sauce".

Obviously, the "secret sauce" probably doesn't have a secret irl.

So I'm going to experiment a little (because I have no life), and try to make my own "secret sauce".


Pretty much I'm going to get some Prego, some taco-seasoning mix, and some ground beef. Cook the beef with the seasoning mix, stir in the Prego, and toss with the spaghetti. Not exactly creative, is it? XDDDD BUT I think it will add an interesting kick to regular spaghetti sauce. I may garnish it with lettuce, or maybe even spinach for a healthier alternative. Spinach is good, and good for you, kids! And of course, CHEEEEEEEEEEEEESE. Because neither spaghetti nor tacos are complete without CHEESE.

I think mom is going shopping tomorrow, so on Monday I will probably make these in the afternoon, since I'm sure Teddy will want to try them, also being an avid iCarly watcher.

So Dalina and I were thinking of going to Curry House this Tuesday, because our college has a Flex Day that day. Anyone wanna join us? O: Not sure on times (probably round lunch time though? Makes sense. xD), or any sort of dressing theme (ANYONE FOR FORMAL-DRESS-CURRY?! XDDDDD), but I'm open to suggestions.

So I Was totally goingto go to bed before 1....and then after an hour of rolling around in bed I was struck by inspiration and the urge to write such as I haven't had since my days of shitty highschool fanfiction (man that stuff was awesome/awful 8D). And so now, instead of sleeping, I write. The joys of the artistic mind.

But I have a question for you ladies, as writers (if there are any) and readers.

Regarding the main character.
I find that my heriones tend to take after one or the other of my own extremes, personality-wise. Either an exaggeration of my irritable, sarcastic, wannabe tough side, or what I refer to as the "Rikku" side of me, the bubbly, cheerful, excitable part. I feel like these characters seem to embody myself a little too well...As a writer, what is your feeling on characters like this? Do you think each character should be as a part of the author, or do you think the author should pull away from character types that also define themselves as a person and try to embody a different persona?

As a reader do you prefer a character who seems to be like the author, maybe giving you some insight into what the writer is like, or do you prefer a more generic type of herione that you can identify with, and that the greater majority of girls can also identify with?


Regarding the romantic interest.
Obviously, mine always turn out "tall, with dark hair, pale skin, dark almond shaped eyes" (OH MY GOD AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH IT'S 3 IN THE MORNING AND THE HEFFALUMPS AND WOOZLES SONG JUST CAME ON MY iTUNES GUYS I'M FUCKING SCARE YOU HAVE NO IDEA ;AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA; ), usually dressing in some sort of alternative style. Pretty much your average sexy VK douchebag. The personalities tend to waver between cold and serious, but with some sort of charming silly fault like being really really clumsy (pretty much Squall or Cloud if they consistantly dropped their weapons in the middle of trying to spin them and look all bad ass), or funny, boyish, and a little bit of a tough-guy, good common sense, but not the smartest cookie in the batch (like Tidus xD). Both types of men I find very attractive personally.

As a writer, do you think it's acceptable for the author to write about THEIR ideal, and the type of men that get their firecrackers started if you know what I mean heh heh heh heh, or do you think that the author should try to appeal to the masses in terms of apperance and behavior?
As a reader, which interests you more, the generic male interest that pretty much every girl fawns over (you know the one. AND NO, IT'S NOT GODDAMN FABIO), or a new and interesting type of man that may not be exactly your cup of tea?

When I say generic, I do NOT mean this in a bad way. It may seem like it, but I don't. There are people who prefer the generic, easy to identify with characters, and there's nothing at all wrong with that.


Also, for you writers:
Do you prefer to write the book chronologically, of course jotting down sudden sparks for some random event in the middle or the conclusion, but generally in order, or are you all over the place?

Do you prefer pen and paper to start with, or are you all computer-writing?

Do you graph out your story, events, characters, and develop everything before diving into writing, or do you just gun it and let the characters and story develop itself?

On an unrelated note, in the HIGHLY unlikely event that I actually ever finish this current work, I am totally fcking going to publish it, regardless of how awful I think it is.

Think about it. If someone like Stephanie Meyers can publish some trash like Twilight and get fucking famous over-night, what the hell is stopping me? (Cheer with me now, PRO-CRA-STI-NATION!!!! YAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!)


Also, doesn't it just totally fucking figure that right when you need a really bangin' rock song to come on your inspirational background music, iTunes gives you the finger and pops up the piano ballad, or vice versa?

Judging from a couple other articles I've read about this, I have to say, I believe him. This new CEO seems like a total tool, even in interviews and professional articles.

I gotta say...I kinda don't want to support AX anymore if this guy is going to line his pockets with our money and treat his workers AND the entertainment in such a disgusting manner. I'm about *this* close to boycotting.

Not like my boycotting will make any difference. 8D I was never a big con-goer anyway.

YES I do think they should be legally required to post warnings.

Not everyone wants to look at porn. We have the right to be told "there is going to be adult content on this site" so that we can avoid it if we choose. Not saying that all "adult content" is going to be porn, but we still have that right.
NO I don't think it would place a "chill" on creative expression. Why? Because the people who WANT to look at it are still going to look at it. And the people who DON'T are still going to be pissed off when they sign onto a site that doesn't have the warning and all of a sudden "BOOBIES ALL OVER MAH SCREEN!!!!"

It's not about crushing free expression. It's about preventing people who don't want to see that kind of thing, or shouldn't be looking at it in the first place (at work, underage, at school, ect) from having to deal with it.
